More than a half-dozen area high school football games have been moved up to Thursday night as Tropical Storm Isaias heads to the Gulf Coast area and threatens to douse Florida with heavy rain. Atlantic Coast-Creekside, Aucilla Christian-Hilliard, Baker County-Suwannee, Bartram Trail-Beachside, Fort White-Madison County, Gainesville Buchholz-Matanzas, Union County-Fernandina Beach and University Christian-Williston have announced Week 8 changes due to the threat of the storm.UC’s game was initially supposed to be on the road before the day and venue change. No games have been canceled due to the storm, but more changes are expected as teams try and arrange moves with officials. Unlike in previous years, Florida has been spared from hurricane- and tropical storm-related issues.
